Specifically, we explore what each role contributes to defining and launching a product or new feature, how and who develops the Go-To-Market strategies and product messaging, and how market intelligence and analytics are incorporated in the product development process. His approach is based on the belief that minimal process and simple templates result in a nimble product marketing and management team. Steve has been working within the high-technology arena since 1981 with experience in technical, sales, and marketing management positions at companies specializing in enterprise and desktop hardware and software. His market and technical savvy allowed him to rise rapidly through the ranks from Product Manager to Chief Marketing Officer. Deb Chase has over 20 years of experience in crafting and driving game-changing company and product marketing strategies. As a consultant, she has helped disruptors and global companies such as Lockheed Martin, Xerox, AT&T, SAP, Neustar, and others, implement winning product marketing plans. Deb specializes in M&A related marketing integration, and messaging, content, and product marketing for network, security, and cloud services. Currently, Deb is a Senior Product Marketing Manager at ScienceLogic. Kristen Cooper, currently Head of Product Marketing at startup, builds the product marketing function at technology companies from nothing to something. She has over 15 years in product marketing, the bulk of it in cybersecurity with stints in data governance, education and HR technology. Kristen's experience at great Washington, DC area companies include Mandiant, Fidelis Cybersecurity and Blackboard. Ben Foster is the Chief of Product at GoCanvas and was the vice president of product and UX at Opower, now a publicly traded company. He has also advised over 50 startups on product over the years, including four currently. Brian Brinkmann, VP Products at Logi Analytics has over 20 years of analytics and BI software experience. Prior to joining Logi Analytics, he held senior product strategy, management, and marketing positions with MicroStrategy, creating BI applications for marquee customers such as Nike and Franklin Templeton. Brian holds a MBA and a MEM from Northwestern University, as well as a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from the University of Dayton.
